hi all! just thought i'd send you a little update on what i'm doing and where i'm at! i've recently been writing my first book - how exciting is that? it will be a comprehensive book of natural beauty tips, everything from 'should you use vaseline?' to 'what's the best form of natural hair removal?' to talking about how i maintain my skin and live a healthy lifestyle. i've been putting lots of hours into research and so it's pretty stocked with information and some unusual (but practical) ideas! i'm really looking forward to publishing it soon and being able to give you blog readers a sneak preview as well as the opportunity to win a copy! this week i also hope to upload a video about my acne story - which i hope will help any of you out there that suffer from acne or regular breakouts. if you have any questions that you'd like answered, please don't hesitate to ask (either in the comments section, or anonymously on Formspring, or...

Today's Question of the Day! Alot of us suffer from Dark elbows, knees, or even underarms..How to lighten these areas to get an even skin tone? Hmm for this problem, theres a really nice homemade remedy..which does work! You just need  Glycerin, Lemon Juice, and Rose Water Take a jar and mix these in equal quantity, if you're taking 2 tbsp Glycerin..that means you'll have to take 2 tbsp Lemon Juice and 2 tbsp Rose water I recommend applying this mixture on you skin regularly, before going to bed..you'll start to see a difference within a few days..This mixture can also be applied instead of your lotion, it will bring a healthy glow to your skin and will make your skin soft..but don't go outside in the sun with this on :) Hope it helps :) Will be waiting for your comments/ questions/ opinions...till then, takecare :) ShyCheeeks signin out ~

Hey there my Sweet Readers, hope you're doing well :) Im here with yet another Review, this time it is.. My Claire's Lipgloss! This Lipgloss has no color name lol..it just has Claire's name written on it! The color is a pretty nude golden..has alot of shimmer in it, yes, alot The size of this gloss is small, comes with a typical applicator i dont have any problem applying it on my lips! i hope you can get an idea that the gloss is full of golden shimmer! It smells sweet, umm dont know how to describe it :P When applied, it gives adds a great shine to my lips..its a little sheer, and non-sticky The best part is its long-wearing..i applied it to my lips, and it was still there after 2 to 3 hours! Lipglosses tend to fade quickly, but this one held on pretty nicely..after 3 to 4 hours it faded but the shimmer was still there and my lips were still shining! Overall, i like this one..is a very pretty color, and stays on quite nicely But i bought it from a Claire's shop..which...

so, my latest yt video is all about my everyday makeup routine. it's really natural looking, as well as using natural cosmetics too! it's not a complicated look, but is perfect for something you might apply everyday, to go to work or school, rather than to a formal occasion or out clubbing. the products i use have changed since last time i made a makeup tutorial video (which was ages ago!) - but i'm careful not to purchase too many products, and am only buying new makeup when i run out of a tube or a pot. it's much more eco friendly, and means that the makeup doesn't go off and so it won't have to be thrown away! way too many people have too much makeup, sticking to a few good products is much more cost effective and sensible! buying makeup can be quite addictive... anyway, i hope there are some new products here for you to try out, and i hope you enjoy watching... how to create a simple natural everyday makeup look in 10 steps: 1. start with a good base - apply...

Yes, another Question of the Day :) One of my Sweet follower suffers from a quite common problem, Split Ends! She wants to grow her hair long, but Split Ends are not allowing her :( Hmm lets start off with the causes of split ends.. Heat ~  which includes your blow dryer, flat irons, and also exposure of sunlight..make sure you use a heat protectant before using heat tool..and use a blow dryer with 3 heat setting, cold warm and hot..so you can blow dry your hair with cold or warm air Over washing  ~ split ends also occur due to excessive washing of your hair, it takes away the moisture of your hair, especially at the ends..so don't shampoo your hair every other day and make sure you use a deep conditioner after shampooing your hair Climate ~ yes, climate is another factor..windy, hot, or cold climate also affects your hair Hair Accessories ~ Elastic bands also damage our hair, as they are a little hard to take off from your hair..also avoid those accessories which are too ti...
