Fight Split Ends!

Yes, another Question of the Day :)

One of my Sweet follower suffers from a quite common problem, Split Ends!
She wants to grow her hair long, but Split Ends are not allowing her :(

Hmm lets start off with the causes of split ends..

Heat ~ which includes your blow dryer, flat irons, and also exposure of sunlight..make sure you use a heat protectant before using heat tool..and use a blow dryer with 3 heat setting, cold warm and hot..so you can blow dry your hair with cold or warm air

Over washing ~ split ends also occur due to excessive washing of your hair, it takes away the moisture of your hair, especially at the ends..so don't shampoo your hair every other day and make sure you use a deep conditioner after shampooing your hair

Climate ~ yes, climate is another factor..windy, hot, or cold climate also affects your hair

Hair Accessories ~ Elastic bands also damage our hair, as they are a little hard to take off from your hair..also avoid those accessories which are too tight on your hair

Brushing/Combing ~ brushing/combing hair too much is also a cause of damage, and brushing while your hair is still wet should be avoided

Back Combing ~ i know we all love to back comb our hair, it also damages the hair, so be careful on regularl back combing

Too much Product ~ like over washing, we sometimes put too much product in our hair..like too much leave-in conditioner..it is also not advisable for your hair, also avoid leaving oil massaged in your hair for too long..massage them with a good oil 30 mins or 1 hour before washing your hair..i use coconut oil, it works great for me :)

Hmm so these were some factors which cause Split Ends, make sure you keep them in mind and try to be careful with your hair :)
Unfortunately, there is no cure for split ends..they have to be cut off..all those product which claim to cure them are fake! You will need to get your hair trimmed sometime, but if you manage to avoid the causes..your split ends wont appear quickly..which means you can delay your hair cut, but make sure you take good care of your hair :)

Hmm i think thats all, I hope this post was helpful..will love your experience and suggestions!
How do You Avoid these Nasty Split Ends?
Will be waiting for your comments/ questions/ opinions...till then, takecare :)
