Lime Crime Candy Eyed Eye Primer + Magic Dust Loose Eyeshadow in Medusa ~ Review + Swatches

Don't we all love doing Eye Makeup? ;)
When starting off with makeup, i never knew there was something called 'eyeshadow primer'
But when i did, it changed everything..i love eye primers now, they literally change the whole look of your eye makeup!

How about checking the Lime Crime Candy Eyed Eyeshadow Helper today alongwith their loose eyeshadow? ;)

 What they Say?

No other eyeshadow primers work for you? Meet Eyeshadow Helper: formulated to withstand heat, sweat and even the oiliest of eyelids, this waterproof eyelid primer is guaranteed to keep your eyeshadow ON no matter what!

Intensifies color
Prevents creasing for up 24 hrs
Makes your eyeshadow water-proof
Comes off with waterproof makeup remover or lotion
HOW TO USE: Smooth a thin layer over eyelids with a finger tip or flat brush. Apply eyeshadow promptly. To remove, use waterproof makeup remover or lotion on a cotton pad.

I've been loving this Primer so much!
It comes in a little dome shaped jar, i actually like jar primers/concealers..this one is really pretty

You get a nice amount of product in the jar, will last u a long time, you really need to apply a very little amount of this on your eyes!
It has a tint to it, but after applying on the lids it looks invisible..like the urban decay primer potion

The consistency is creamy and thick, just a tiny bit of product is enough for your eyes
It holds the eyeshadow for a longg longgg time, i don't do eye makeups for 24hours..but after 8-10hours..my eyeshadow was still there with the same great intensity!

Now coming onto the Magic Dust Loose Eyeshadow of Lime Crime..

What the say?

Immerse yourself into the world of fantasy with a collection of multi-purpose Magic Dusts, inspired by our favorite fairytales and mystical creatures! Designed for dreamy, aetherial effects on your eyes, lips and cheeks, these loose eyeshadows combine intense pearlescence with just a touch of underlying color. Each Magic Dust comes in a no-spill purple unicorn container.

HOW TO USE: Remove plastic seal from the sifter. With lid tightly closed, tap bottom of jar lightly upside down. Use product from the sifter with a brush, sponge applicator or fingers. For all-day wear & waterproof finish, prime your lids with our acclaimed Eyeshadow Helper!

It comes secured in a pretty jar, this is a loose eyeshadow which can be quite messy for some people
I have the Shade in Medusa, Its described as an intense shimmery black but its more like a navy color with indeed intense pearlescence but looks absolutely gorgeous on the eyes!

Coming onto the Swatches..

Left one is with the primer and right one with no primer
You can see the intense color payoff on the left swatch, the right one doesn't look bad too!
The Candy Eyed Primer literally grabs the eyeshadow beautifully and gives an intense color payoff

Here i rubbed the two swatches to check what happens, i actually rubbed the swatch with the primer harder..you can see its still pretty good, even under water the eyeshadow didn't come off..so you do need to have a good makeup remover to get this baby off!

Overall, call me really impressed by this! ;)
Seriously guys, i've been skipping on my urban decay primer potion since i got this..its great for holding and intensifying the color..and i think this will be great for people with 'eyeshadow fading issues' in summers, because of its ability to resist sweaty and oily lids!
The Magic Dust in Medusa is a really nice color, i love blues and purples..and this is an excellent addition to my collection ;)
