Garnier Skin Naturals Oil Control Fairness Cream ~ Review

I was a little hesitant to try this New Oil Control cream by Garnier..Last year i tried the Garnier Light fairness + anti spots Cream, it was a total disappointment! [review here]

Summers bring back my Extremely Oily skin! My skin starts getting oily right after just 5 to 15 minutes of washing my face..This Cream promised an 8-hour oil free face, thats just too good to be true for me!

But after using this cream, i am quite pleased..it feels really light on the skin, the cream has a nice mousse-like texture..it goes on lightly and doesn't feel like im wearing anything..It gives a nice matte finish to my skin!

The good part is that it does control oil!
Well, not for whole 8-hours..but for 2 to 4 hours, depending on your routine and skin type :)


Another good point is that it has SPF 15 in it, i know i know its not alot..but better than nothing!

I don't know if its the SPF or the texture of the cream that makeup you look a little 'bright' ..Yes, i mean it does leave the skin with a little white cast..make sure you blend it nicely :)

About the fairness part, i really can't say anything..because im not tan or anything! But it does contain Lemon, which is a natural bleach..I think continuous use might be helpful for evening out the skin tone and fading acne marks!


Overall, its available for 200 PKR, which is really inexpensive..if this was expensive, i would have been disappointed on it not being able to keep my face shine free for 8 hours..but in this situation i think 2 to 4 hours is not bad!
